    TRANSPORTATION: Internal transportation is by road or inter-island ferry.

    E.T. Joshua Airport is 5 km from the sea port.

    Imports: None Exports: Bananas and other fruit, vegetables, root crops.

    WEATHER: No high winds as port is sheltered Tides: Tidal variation is 0.5 meter.

    ANCHORAGE: Water depth outside main berthing apron is 45 feet.

    PILOTAGE: Compulsory for vessels over 100 grt. Pilot boards at pilot station. Pilotage charges are calculated on the basis of grt.
