    WORKING HOURS: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    APPROACH: San Juan Bay is approached via the Bar Channel, which is 0.5 nautical mile long and 500 feet wide with a depth of 50 feet.

    Landmark: Fort el Morro.

    HAZARDS: None.

    TRANSPORTATION: Inland transportation is by road. Luis Mu–oz Marin International Airport is 3 km from the sea port and Isla Grande Airport is 1 km away.

    IMPORTS AND EXPORTS: Imports: Merchanise for departmental stores, foodstuffs - Exports: Pharmaceuticals, textiles, tuna.

    WEATHER: Winds south to south easterly 15-20 mph - Tidal variation less than 1 foot.

    ANCHORAGE: Anchorage 'E' is SW of Isla Grande, 34 feet - Anchorage 'F' is shoreward of the western margin of Anegado Channel, 34 feet.

    PILOTAGE: Pilot boards three miles north of sea buoy - Pilot is required by all vessels from sea buoy to berth and also from berth to sea buoy - Pilot charges are based on the vessel's grt.
