    TRANSPORTATION: Inland transportation is by road - Sangster International Airport is 3.1 km from the sea port.

    IMPORTS AND EXPORTS:

    Imports: Grain and oil - Exports: Aggregates, bananas, other agricultural products.

    WEATHER: Winds: N, NE, ENE, E, ESE, 87 per cent, NNW, NW, WNW 4 per cent. Wind speed 11-16 knots 40 per cent, in excess of 21 knots 2.5 per cent. Windiest months are November to March. Strongest winds from NNE, NE, ENE, reaching maximum from the east - Tides: 25.4 cm at MHW.

    ANCHORAGE: Latitude: 18° 28' 32'' N - Longitude: 77° 55' 59'' W with a minimum depth of 12 meters and a maximum depth of more than 100 meters.

    PILOTAGE: Agents alert Pilotage Department on ship's ETA and ETD at least three hours before required time - Pilot boards and guides the ship in and out of the channel. Pilotage charges are calculated according to grt.
