    Las Americas International Airport is 30 km from the sea port.

    Imports: Sugar, molasses - Exports: Fertiliser, coal, cement clinker.

    WEATHER: Winds only a problem during hurricane season.

    ANCHORAGE: The anchorage is one mile south of the lighthouse.

    PILOTAGE: Pilot boards about half a mile from the sea buoy.

    TOWAGE: Not available, but can be ordered from Santo Domingo.
