    TRANSPORTATION: Inland transportation mainly by road. Owen Robert International Airport is 2 km east of the sea port.

    WEATHER: Prevailing NE winds. Hurricane season between June and November.

    Maximum tides: 46 cm.

    PILOTAGE: Available on request from Bodden Shipping.

    Cruise ships: Two cruise terminals for tenders - Containerships: South Pier with 134 meters length. Ro-ro ships: One ramp of 18 meters width - Tankers: Jackson Point Terminal, half a mile south of the harbour.

    MEDICAL AID: George Town Hospital is half a mile from the port.
