    BUNKER SURCHARGE INCREASE

    The following announcement was issued by

    the Caribbean Shipowners Association

    2006, January 3: Due to the continued rise in fuel prices, members of the Caribbean Shipowners Association who are Bernuth Lines, CMA CGM Caribbean, CP Ships, Crowley Liner Services, Interline, Seaboard Marine, SeaFreight Line, and Tropical Shipping, providing service between the United States and Caribbean destinations (Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Saba, St Barths, St Eustatius, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Vincent, Trinidad, Haiti, Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname), announce the necessity to publish a Bunker Surcharge Increase, based on the West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil price of $59 per barrel as follows:

    Effective February 5, 2006

    NOTE: The Bunker Surcharge is assessed in addition to all other charges, applicable to all tariff and service contract rates in the U.S. and Puerto Rico trade. Except as noted, *Weight (W) is based on 2,000 lbs. and Measurement (M) is based on 40 cubic feet. Please contact your preferred carrier for further information.
