BUNKER SURCHARGE INCREASE
The following announcement was issued by
the Caribbean Shipowners Association
2006, January 3:
Due to the continued rise in fuel prices, members of the Caribbean Shipowners
Association who are Bernuth Lines, CMA CGM Caribbean, CP Ships, Crowley Liner
Services, Interline, Seaboard Marine, SeaFreight Line, and Tropical Shipping,
providing service between the United States and Caribbean destinations (Anguilla,
Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Saba,
St Barths, St Eustatius, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Maarten, St Vincent,
Trinidad, Haiti, Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname), announce the necessity to
publish a Bunker Surcharge Increase, based on the West Texas Intermediate Crude
Oil price of $59 per barrel as follows:
