2010, March 10: The
Caribbean Shipping Association returns to the Dutch Caribbean to host the ninth
annual Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference in Willemstad, Curaçao.
The
Conference will be held May 17, 18 and 19 at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort
on beautiful Piscadera Bay. The top leadership of the regional shipping industry
will gather to address the main issues affecting growth, development and
profitability.
Conference
presentations will collectively address the theme "Regional Integrated Maritime
Strategy (RIMS): If Not Today, When?" Presenters will expose the challenges and
discuss opportunities for successfully implementing RIMS. The need to put in
place the necessary mechanisms for growth in a RIMS model that will lead to
viable, profitable and sustainable cargo, cruise and luxury yacht sectors
throughout the Caribbean and Latin American region will also be addressed.

Conference is presented by the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA) in
collaboration with Curaçao Port Authority and the Curaçao Port Services in
Curaçao.
