2008, July 15: The leadership of the Caribbean shipping industry will meet in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, October 13, 14 and 15, 2008 for the Caribbean Shipping Association’s 38th Annual General Meeting, Conference and Exhibition.

The Conference, the larger of the two Regional conferences held each year by the CSA, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Trinidad. The new Hyatt Regency is one of the finest hotels in the Southern Caribbean and will form a perfect venue for this CSA conference.

The conference will feature a number of important presentations on topics critical for shipping in the Caribbean Region at this time. The CSA’s annual business exposition in the Shipping Insight series, presented as part of the event, will allow a number of shipping entities an opportunity to meet and market directly to top shipping executives.

The CSA’s annual gala banquet will be held on Wednesday October 15. This is the largest social event on the CSA’s calendar. The banquet will climax with the announcement of the CSA’s annual Ports Of The Year Awards.

The Annual CSA Golf Challenge will be held on Saturday October 11.

A very interesting programme of events has been planned for spouses attending the conference. Details of this and other activities will be announced shortly.
